During my formative process as a director, screenwriter and actor, having studied Social Communication and Performing Arts has been a combination of knowledge that has given me many tools and knowledge. The contents of both degrees have nurtured each other and have helped me to discover my professional profile. From Communication I was able to learn audiovisual languages, script writing and directing techniques. But all this gained much more strength with the knowledge that I absorbed during the career of Performing Arts, because it was here where, despite not having an emphasis on directing or writing, I managed through learning acting to identify the processes of creating a character, the different levels that can have an emotion or a certain action and, in general terms, to recognize an authentic and true interpretation.
